San Francisco, CA, February 28, 2002 - Televoke Inc., a leading telematics software company, today announced the appointment of Doug Daniels as vice president of sales. Daniels joins Televoke from Cellport Systems, a leading provider of in-vehicle wireless communications and telematics systems, where he was vice president of automotive. He also brings to Televoke more than seven years of senior sales management experience at AT&T Wireless Services.

"Doug is a great addition to the Televoke team." comments Bob Kimball CEO of Televoke. "He brings a unique combination of wireless and automotive experience, as well as proven track record in forging successful customer relationships and profitable businesses."

At Cellport, Daniels was responsible for the automotive team, securing the company's first automotive OEM relationships with Ford Motor and Nissan, as well as partnership programs and licensing agreements with Qualcomm, Nokia, Kyocera and others. In addition, Daniels launched the Cellport 3000, the industry's first universal hands-free platform for safe and convenient cellular communications while in a vehicle. Daniels began his career at AT&T Wireless Services, where over the course of seven years he held a variety of senior sales positions, most recently as director of wireless data sales for the western region of the country, managing sales personnel and responsible for subscriber growth, revenue attainment, channel productivity and program management. Throughout his tenure at AT&T Wireless, Daniels and his teams were consistently ranked in top sales status for the company.

"Televoke is in a great position with technology that combines the best of the Web and telephony and delivers it to the intersection of two hot markets -- wireless and automotive," Daniels said.
