vehicle tracking and support services
for Clifford Mobiletrace 1 product

via COMTEX - Clifford Electronics
announced today at CES 2000 the selection
of San Francisco based Televoke to provide
vehicle tracking, notification, and control
services to support Clifford's new MobileTrace
1 product. This inexpensive vehicle system
can be used to track a stolen vehicle,
notify the owner and police in the event
of an alarm, notify 911 services in an
emergency, and for control functions such
as locking or unlocking doors from any
phone or web browser.
With its built-in GPS and wireless communications,
Clifford's MobileTrace 1 notifies the
owner by phone, pager, e-mail or fax,
and allows the stolen vehicle to be tracked
as soon as the security system is triggered.
Based on the customer's preferences, the
police can be notified and provided with
exact vehicle location on a continuous
basis. Each Clifford MobileTrace 1 also
includes both a panic button that can
be activated by the owner and an automatic
accident sensor, either of which will
summon 911 emergency services when triggered.
Commenting on the decision to incorporate
Televoke's systems, Clifford President

safety and quick recovery of stolen vehicles."
Clifford's MobileTrace 1 combined with
Televoke's services will be available
mid year of 2000. The MobileTrace 1 is
expected to retail for about $500, and
the monthly service fee is targeted to
start at $9.95.
